1 tsp. vinegar
Method:
Heat water in a small saucepan until bubbles form but there is no movement in the water. Turn heat to very low. Add vinegar to water and gently crack up to three eggs ar a time into water, allowing them to lay on the bottom. Remove pot from burner. Allow to sit, undisturbed, until a slotted spoon can be gently scooped under egg and the egg comes up in one piece, anwhere from 3 to 5 minutes for a soft yolk. Drain for a few seconds, then serve.
